Tonight, award-winning chef and humanitarian Jose Andres redefines the time period "dine n dash" and we’ll comply with him as his World Central Kitchen fundraiser.

We’re joining more than 3200 World Central supporters. Kitchen along side the seventh Annual Dine n Dash Treasurer. First, we now have moved to the start line in the DC National Union Building.

The three floors of this pop-up area have been devoted to instructional shows and gadgets relevant to the mission of World Central. It was based by Jose Andres in 2010 after the terrible earthquake in Haiti. It has grow to be a tremendous international network of cooks and volunteers devoted to disaster aid and the design of sensible and anti-poverty options. The work they do is actually spectacular.

In fact, there have been nice appetizers and enjoyable drinks from sponsor Titon Vodka all over the place. There were even 360 ° virtual actuality goggles to provide members a way of being within the country within the disaster area. It was very cool.

So we just had a blast performing on the World Central Kitchen pop-up on F Road. Now we're going to some restaurants to take pleasure in meals and drinks.

We started at Jaleo, one of many 36 collaborating eating places. It was an enormous celebration. Stay music, drinks and limitless, nice meals. We realized it was going to be an extended night time so we had a quick espresso from Pitango after which we went to Oyamel and China Chilcano.
